Spanish tapas world heritage

Spanish tapas World Heritage

The Minister of education on functions, Iñigo Méndez de Vigo, proposed last month to General Director of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, making Spanish Tapas to become World Heritage of Spain.

Why should Spanish tapas be world heritage?

The Minister defended this idea emphasizing that tops come from the time of King Carlos III, King of Spain, and first mayor of Madrid. It also said that although the covers are originating in Spain, talk about tapas is speak in a universal language that everyone understands the term.

And is that who does not know the term “tapas” out of Spain? They are so famous and so delicious that are very few who have not enjoyed some good Spanish tapas.

We invite you to read our article where we explain what are the Spanish tapas and the differences with other terms.
